The Laparoscopic Allis Grasper replicates the function of the open surgery Allis clamp, providing a multi-toothed grip for firmly holding tissue that needs to be immobilised or retracted. While more traumatic than atraumatic graspers, it provides a very secure hold and is appropriate for use on tissues that are to be resected or that can tolerate firm gripping.
